CASA Announces New Executive Director
Macon County CASA has appointed Robert
K. “Bert” Gray as the agency’s new Executive Director.
Gray replaced Vince Rodriguez, who left in July.
Bert has lived in Decatur since 2005, and
served at the helm of the Decatur Area Arts Council from 2005 to
earlier 2011. Gray brings not-for-profit
management and fund raising experience to CASA.
He received a Masters of Science in Business Management
from Aurora University, and most recently completed a
Certificate in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University.
His social service background includes many years on the
Kendall County Youth Services Board, Big Brother-Big Sister
program in Champaign, and as a staff member at a residential
camp for adults with disabilities. Bert is a
member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Central
Illinois Planned Giving Council, and Decatur Rotary Club #180.
