Macon County CASA provides services to the following children:

 

 

A. Children who are subjects of civil child abuse proceedings.

B. Children who are at risk of emotional, physical or sexual abuse.

C. Children who are the victims of neglect or who exhibit the symptoms of failure to thrive.

D. Children who initially are returned to a home where there is a risk of continued harm, excluding those cases referred to the Family Preservation Programs for the provision of intensive services.

E. Children who, initially, will be assigned out of home placements, excluding those cases referred to the Family Reunification Programs for the provision of intensive services.

F. There aren’t income restrictions which apply to the provision of Macon County CASA advocacy services. This program serves Macon County residents, but if a child moves to another county, CASAs will travel to that location. (view graphs)
